IMPORTANT NOTICE Restood acts strictly as an intermediary digital marketplace connecting Event Service Providers (Auditorium Owners, Photographers, Beauticians, Decorators, Catering, etc.) with Customers. All bookings, payments, and statutory obligations on the Restood Platform are governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

PART I: TERMS OF SERVICE & VENDOR GOVERNANCE

1. Platform Nature & Business Model

Restood ("Platform", "We", "Us", or "Our") operates as an online aggregator and event management marketplace.

The Platform enables independent vendors including, but not limited to, Marriage Halls/Auditorium Owners, Photographers, Beauticians, Decorators, Caterers, and Event Planners ("Vendor Partners" or "Vendors") to list their services, and allows end-users ("Customers" or "Users") to browse, select, and directly book these event services.

In accordance with Section 2(20) and related provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (CPA 2019) and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Restood acts as an e-commerce marketplace entity facilitating direct contracts between Customers and Vendors.

Restood is not a direct service provider of physical venues, photography, catering, or beautician services, but acts as an authorized facilitator under a principal-to-principal framework.

2. User & Vendor Eligibility

Pursuant to Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, access to and registration on Restood is strictly limited to individuals who are legally competent to enter into binding contracts.

3. Vendor Onboarding Rules & Operational Standards

To ensure safety, quality, and service reliability for event bookings, all Vendors registering on Restood must adhere strictly to the following mandatory rules.

Delivery of raw/edited footage within agreed SLA timeframes (maximum 30 days post-event), non-disclosure of private event photos without consent.
Decorators & Catering FSSAI License (Mandatory for Food Caterers under FSSA 2006), GST Registration, Fire Safety Compliance for temporary structures. Adherence to strict hygiene standards, timely stage/hall setup completion 2 hours prior to event start, safe electrical wiring.

Statutory Compliance for Food Vendors

As per Section 3(1)(j) of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 (FSSA) read with CPA 2019, food items delivered or served at event venues fall under the strict scope of "Goods".

Caterers and Food Service Vendors bear sole legal liability for food quality, hygiene standards, and statutory compliance. Restood is entirely exempt from food safety claims.

4. Role Facilitation & Limitation of Liability

Principal-to-Principal Contract: An accepted booking creates a direct, legally binding contract of service between the Customer and the Vendor. Restood is not a party to this operational service contract.

No Service Guarantee: Restood shall not be liable for deficiencies in service, delays, event delays, poor quality, damage to property, or unprofessional conduct by Vendors or venue staff.

Platform Discretion & Removal: Restood reserves the absolute right to suspend, terminate, or block any Vendor or Customer account in the event of contractual breach, fraudulent listing, or statutory non-compliance without prior notice.

PART II: PRIVACY POLICY & DATA PROTECTION GOVERNANCE

1. Compliance with Indian Statutory Frameworks

Restood is committed to safeguarding user privacy and protecting personal data.

This Privacy Policy complies fully with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 (Section 43A), and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

We collect only necessary information required to facilitate event bookings and verify identities.

Customer Data: Full Name, Phone Number, Email Address, Event Dates, Venue Location, and Payment Confirmation details.

Vendor Data: Business Name, Owner Identity Proof (Aadhaar/PAN/GST), Banking Details for Payouts, FSSAI/Fire Safety Licenses, and Service Portfolios.

Technical Data: IP Address, Device Identifiers, Cookies, and Location Data for localized venue searching.

3. Purpose and Fair Usage Guarantee

Our Data Usage Promise Restood explicitly guarantees that we DO NOT SELL, RENT, LEASE, OR UNLAWFULLY TRADE your personal information or business data to any third-party marketing agencies. Your data is used strictly for platform operational efficiency and lawful event booking processing.

Restood implements industry-standard technical and organizational security measures, including 256-bit SSL encryption, restricted administrative access, and secure cloud storage located within Indian data centers.

PART III: REFUND, CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY

1. Payment Flow & Escrow Mechanism

All customer payments made via the Restood mobile application or platform are routed securely.

Restood collects the booking advance or total fee on behalf of the Vendor Partner. Funds are released to the Vendor upon successful completion of the event or in accordance with milestone terms.

2. Cancellation Timelines & Statutory Refund Matrix

To protect both Customers and Vendors who allocate peak wedding/event dates, cancellations and refunds are governed strictly according to the statutory matrix outlined below.

3. Refund Processing SOP

Initiation: Cancellations must be logged directly through the Restood mobile app under "My Bookings".

Verification: Restood verifies the timestamp and communicates with the assigned Vendor within 24 hours.

Credit Execution: All approved refunds are processed automatically to the original banking channel (Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Netbanking) in compliance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) turnaround time guidelines.

This document constitutes an electronic record published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.

Restood reserves all legal rights to update or modify these policies periodically.

Continued usage of the platform signifies explicit consent to these terms.
